Type 2 Cement

Type 2 Portland Cement is defined in the Iranian National Standard No. 389 as follows:
"As a modified Portland cement, its special use is in concretes where moderate heat of hydration is required and sulfate attack is moderate."

Since this cement is one of the major products of the country’s cement plants, it is widely used by consumers for general purposes in mortar or concrete.

This product, while having moderate sulfate-resistant properties, possesses compressive strength significantly higher than the standard limit. Due to the quality of raw materials and the use of advanced and precise machinery, it obtained the standard mark license during the initial production and sampling stages.

Key Features of Type 2 Cement

  • Resistant to chemical salts and corrosive environments containing sulfates and chlorides.
  • High resistance to sulfate attack, suitable for making concrete pipes, water, and sewage channels.
  • Suitable for foundations of marine structures and structures in highly corrosive environments
